Description
Keijo Saemidori Sencha tea is a luxury green tea grown in Miyazaki prefecture on the southern island of Kyushu, Japan. It is made with leaves from the early part of the first flush harvest, which are then lightly steamed in a traditional fashion and rolled into a needle-like shape. The Saemidori bush was first developed by master tea crafters in 1969 through crossbreeding Yabukita (the most popular tea bush in Japan) and Asatsuyu (a tea bush known as "naturally grown Gyokuro”). While steeping your Keijo Saemidori Sencha, the whole room fills with the aroma of fresh greens, and tests your patience as you wait for it to be ready. At first sip, you will enjoy a full umami-rich sencha taste that is without any bitterness. Saemidori is truly a luxury full-bodied Japanese tea with the freshest aroma. |
