Description
Yame Kabusecha Gyokuro from the Fukuoka prefecture is a type of Japanese tea that is somewhat of a mid-point between sencha and gyokuro. It is grown in the similar method to sencha tea leaves, yet is shaded for a time- like gyokuro tea. The tea bushes were covered for 14 to 16 days to block the sunlight during growth to deepen the umami notes. Our Yame Kabushecha Gyokuro has the refreshing flavour of sencha with some of the “soul” of the savoury umami flavour of your tea. The dry leaf is glossy and deep green in color with a highly fragrant and sweet aroma. Once infused, Yame Kabusecha Gyokuro tea has a full, rich umami flavor with a deep steamed taste. You will enjoy the smooth finish and full mouth feel. |
