Exactly what is promised. Very fresh and very tasty. Occasionally I will put rose buds in the brew. I would not put anything heavier than that though. This is a very delicate tea. Smells of dried apricots when you open it. More in the bag than expected also.
Well! Even though i am a sim person, still have a lot of fat on my tummy and waist! Just one 3.5 oz package I recently finished and results are incredible! I am losing that extra fat very fast (of course I do some exercise) I just love it, I recommend it to friends and will buy more soon!
One of the best white tea! I really recommend it to everybody!
This is a best white tea i tasted.

Beautiful dried fruit and wood shavings aroma but quite delicate. Needs aggressive brewing to bring out the flavours.
Very good but nearly flavorless. I had to use hotter water and steep longer (boiling water for 4 minutes seemed to work for me). Very nice flavor once you get it to where you can actually taste it.
Looks like silver needle but smells and tastes like green. I've had other bai hao yinzhen silver needle that has more of a black tea aroma, but much more delicate. This one completely misses that.
As someone mentioned, smells and tastes like green tea. Does not have the sweet vanilla aroma undertone you would expect from white tea. Also has very weak overall flavor, you have to use a lot of leaves and hotter water to get anything out of it. Overall, I am disappointed. I guess you get what you pay for as this is way cheaper than any other "white tea" you could find.
I am a big fan of white tea. When ordered this the first time it was better than I have had in any China shop. The second time I thought I was going crazy no flavor at all. I guess better quality control needed at Tealyra because now I would be afraid to order this again.
I agree with Logan, something in the processing of this batch went wrong. I have bought tea from. Tealyra for nearly a year now, and in every Oder I place every couple of months I always ordered this silver needle, because it was really good, nuanced had all the notes you’d expect from a good Fuding silver needle, the mouthfeel and texture were exceptional, and the picking themselves looked amazing, just like the picture for this tea. However after they got this new batch everything changed. The picking look very small, have less layers inside them than the less expensive Pai Mu Tan or the White Cui Mei. Not only that, all the notes it used to have are either gone or toned done. There’s an overwhelming smell of like dusty clay and mud, very unpleasant, and the mouthfeel is sour, bitter and excessively astringent. I wouldn’t recommend trying it, in my experience you should go for the White Cui Mei for less than half the price, yet 10 times the quality
If your new to silver needle, you shouldn’t start with this one. Go with the Yunnan or the Imperial Fujian silver needles
