Description

Classic and refreshing, this mint blend has been loved throughout Morocco; and has since spread throughout the Arab world. In Morocco, it is consumed by the gallons in small decorated glasses, served hot year round, and usually with lots of sugar!

Our Moroccan Mint blend is our hand crafted blend of pure spearmint, peppermint, and strong Chinese gunpowder green tea. Traditionally enjoyed as a mild digestive aid, mint has a natural refreshing, relaxing, and cooling effect in the body. With fresh flavors, and a cool, refreshing taste. Moroccan Mint tea is gentle, and can be enjoyed hot or iced, sweetened if you like, but it isn’t necessary!

The mint flavor is strong but not overpowering. I am not sure I can taste the Gunpowder Green tea, but am sure it brings a balance. Of the various brands of Mint tea I have tried this is currently my favorite. I enjoy it in the evenings while reading/studying.

Really interesting tea, the other reviewers are accurate in saying it tastes a lot like spearmint gum.

I find the spearmint comes on a little strongly and overwhelms the green tea, but it's pretty good. My stomach certainly likes it as it feels very soothing going down. Would be great to have with lunch I think.

I strangely like this mix a lot. It indeed has a chewing gum flavour but it is not overtly strong.
